To do this, we need engineering technicians who are more than a pair of hands. Our technicians assist in the design, fabrication, and testing of innovative prototypes and manufacturing systems, pushing beyond current technological limitations, and are encouraged to contribute their own knowledge and ideas.

GROW as an individual

Working in an environment of innovation and cutting-edge technologies is full of challenges. When dealing with new and novel technologies there are always obstacles, setbacks, and uncertain outcomes that generate opportunities for massive and rapid growth. If you thrive on tackling things you've never done before, Lynntech can provide the opportunity, the support, and the push you need to test the limits of your abilities and blow past them.

In this community, everyone is expected to both give and receive mentorship.

Open doors of OPPORTUNITY

Opportunities abound for Lynntech's technicians to work hands-on, developing first-of-their-kind prototypes as well as manufacturing systems that build products to improve lives. Our technicians are commonly engaged in the following activities:

  • Participate in concept generation and problem solving during brainstorming sessions with talented and experienced innovators.
  • Develop component and assembly designs using CAD software such as Creo|Parametric.
  • Fabricate parts for prototypes using all manner of machines such as mills and lathes, saws, presses, welders, brakes, and shears.
  • Assemble prototypes and test stands to support emerging technologies utilizing state-of-the-art hardware components and systems.
  • Test and troubleshoot these prototypes and processes and monitor outcomes with a critical eye for improvement.
  • Contribute valued feedback regarding the design and performance of prototypes and manufacturing systems.

In addition to LEARNING in an INNOVATIVE COMMUNITY with ample GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES, working as an engineering technician at Lynntech can also lead to long-term CAREER OPPORTUNITIES. Many of Lynntech's present staff of engineers, including senior engineering management, started their careers at Lynntech as engineering technicians, where they gained valuable hands-on experience in turning concepts into viable solutions. We continue to recruit from the ranks of engineering technicians to fill full-time engineering positions once technicians complete an engineering education. Long-term growth opportunities abound in the engineering career path, and Lynntech's technical staff also have the opportunity to impact the direction of their own careers by identifying and pursuing technical areas of interest.
