Lynntech is seeking a candidate to fill a laboratory practitioner position. The candidate will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team in the Experimental Therapeutics and Diagnostics group.

Lynntech develops world-class technology solutions and is actively engaged in various stages of technology development from preliminary concept generation and feasibility demonstration all the way through advanced engineering and manufacturing of products to meet different customer needs by integrating creative talent, business expertise, and purpose-built facilities.

 The successful candidate will have a generalized background in one or more of the following disciplines:

Medicine, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology and Mammalian cell culture laboratory practices.

 The successful candidate will be highly skilled in one or more of the following:

  • Maintaining and propagating microbial organisms and mammalian cell lines
  • Performing routine laboratory experiments involving one or more of the following:

           (a) maintaining primary mammalian cells and cell lines,

           (b) therapeutic target identification and validation, 

           (c) therapeutic delivery strategy identification and evaluation,

           (d) candidate molecule activity evaluation,

           (e) molecular biology techniques such as DNA/RNA extraction, qRT-PCR, cloning etc.

           (f) immunoassays, e.g., ELISAs, Western Blots etc.

 The laboratory practitioner will be responsible for compiling experimental results, maintaining laboratory notebooks and providing short written reports of experimental outcomes. Additional duties will include maintaining an active running inventory of laboratory supplies and resupplying as necessary.
