Lynntech/ ODS is seeking a full-time Assembly Technician candidate to join a small and dynamic team manufacturing new and innovative products.

The candidate is expected to assist in the following functions as part of this position:

  • Manages workload to meet production schedule by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Positions components and subassemblies using jigs, fixtures or reading measurements.
  • Ensures components are properly assembled by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Performs test/inspection using a variety of test equipment to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and industry standards.
  • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains proper inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating demand needed to meet production schedules; placing and expediting orders for supplies and materials;
  • Performs incoming inspections, verifies accuracy of received orders, properly label and store items within the inventory room.
  • Support and develop Work instructions, SOP's and Contract Requirements.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Self-motivated and works well in a in a team-oriented environment
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Associates or Technical degree in electronics a plus.
  • General knowledge in Electrochemical Manufacturing a plus
  • General knowledge of part assembly drawings and assembly drawings.
  • Unit is both mechanical and electrical in nature. Prior work history in a manufacturing or laboratory experience is required.
  • Fluency in written and oral English is required.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to counter height on a regular basis and occasionally lift and move heavier objects.

Position is expected to begin about 12/1.
